Welcoming Our New and Returning Partners

Tuesday 23 April 2024

We have been so lucky to partner with some incredible sponsors over the years, and are very pleased to be welcoming some new (and returning) on board as we continue to deliver best care in the west.

As the major healthcare provider to one of the fastest growing and most diverse regions of Australia, Western Health employs more than 11,000 staff and provides services to aged, adult and paediatric patients, as well as newborn babies. These corporate partnerships, in infection prevention, health infrastructure, and women’s fitness, align perfectly with our values and demonstrate each sponsor’s commitment to supporting the community and healthcare priorities of Melbourne’s west.

Ecolab’s purpose is to help people lead safer, healthier, and cleaner lives whilst protecting the planet.

Ecolab deliver the infection prevention solutions at Western Health and ensure all our frontline workers are kept clean, safe, and healthy every day. Targeting reductions in hospital acquired infections, improved patient outcomes, operational efficiencies and environmental sustainability, Ecolab’s cutting-edge programs are supported by personal service and best-practice training.

Ecolab is a values-driven partner whose mission aligns with ours. We’re excited to see where this partnership will take us and our shared goals, such as improving patient outcomes and the health and safety of our staff.

Lendlease has more than 30 years’ experience in delivering complex health infrastructure projects that continue to respond to and meet the evolving needs of Australia’s growing population.

This experience, combined with a team of dedicated health design and construction professionals, provides a unique capability enabling Lendlease to advise, develop, design and construct on a wide range of projects.

With a focus on delivering quality outcomes, improving operational efficiency, maximising value and ultimately creating healthcare spaces that evoke a sense of care, comfort and trust for all occupants, they’ve delivered approximately $10 billion in health and medical facilities in Australia in the last decade. In fact, LendLease were the managing contractors for Western Health’s very own Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and the relationship continues today, through partnerships such as these.

Fernwood Fitness are back on board with Western Health, to ensure essential workers can prioritise their own health and wellbeing.

Fernwood are the health, fitness and wellness club of choice for more than 70,000 women across Australia, and have been the leading experts in women’s health, fitness and wellness since 1989. The first Fernwood Women’s Health Club opened in Bendigo in 1989, by businesswoman, proud mother and weightlifting champion Diana Williams. Today they have close to 70 health and fitness clubs situated in every state and territory of Australia.

With 70% of Western Health’s workforce being women, our values are intrinsically linked with Fernwood’s purpose to provide a place for women to focus on their health, fitness and wellbeing in a safe and supportive environment.

Thank you for your support of the Western Health Foundation!
